General Dentist;
Is a Dental Practitioner who is registered with the General Dental Council and performs high quality dental treatments, cosmetic dentistry, Dental Implants and treatment of gum disease.
In addition to Dental Practitioners, you can also find the following groups of Dental Professionals at your Dentist. These Dental Professionals must also be registered with the General Dental Council to practice;
Clinical Dental Technicians;
Dental Hygienists;
Dental Technicians;

Orthodontic Therapists;
Dental Nurses;
Dental Nurses are hugely valued members of the Dental Team. You must be an experienced Dental Nurse and able to assist with chairside assistance, routine dental care, general dentistry and hygiene treatments to more specialised treatments such as teeth straightening, whitening and dental implants, and sedation trained. You'll be part of a quality team and your role will be to help deliver the highest level of customer service. You'll develop customer relationships and manage processes to ensure the customer's overall experience is a pleasant one.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensuring CQC requirements are met
• Providing clinical chairside support to the dentist
• Maintaining stock levels of consumables within the centre
• Setting up and decontamination of instruments
• Maintaining and updating patient records Specific Skills
• GDC registered
• CQC experience and full knowledge of processes
• Customer focussed, positive and enthusiastic
• Ability to remain calm and professional
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
