Pharmacy Technician (ACT) | Northumberland
My Client is a well established Independent Community Pharmacy in Northeast England.We're looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated Accuracy Checking Technician (Band-5) for their community pharmacy store in Stakeford NE62 5UR.
The Pharmacy Team is progressive and patient focused and has an excellent reputation in the community, and the post holder will need excellent communication and organisational skills.
The Pharmacy Technician duties include assisting senior staff in the day to day running of the store, process repeat medication requests, including the conversion of acute requests to repeat medicines, changing quantities of medicines, syncing patient medications, e- RD, arranging compliance aids, as safe and cost effective use of medicines and services.
Under the direction and control of a Pharmacist you will be expected to work independently and prioritise your own workload. You will need excellent communication and organisational skills to enable you to meet targets and liaise with patients, primary care staff, and other agencies.
To assist the Pharmacist with data analysis of prescribing behaviour in line with NICE guidance and local clinical commissioning directives
Contract Type: Fixed Term
Duration: 6 months
Working Days/Hours: 4.5-to-5.0 hours a day Mon Tues, Thurs and Fri
Newline Pharmacy, Stakeford.
Pay Scale: BAND 5Mandatory Requirements
Must have the right-to-work in the United Kingdom
Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
Must be qualified as a ACT
A minimum 1 year experience working in a community pharmacy.Must have excellent communication and organisation skills
Must have strong problem-solving skills with an ability to set clear objectives and leadership
